Day Camp is for children entering Kindergarten through Fifth grade. We are located at the rec field under the sun and/or at Valley Middle School during the inclement weather. The children are assigned to their groups via geographical location (school they attend) and by grade. They will be participating in various day-to-day activities and special events. The day-to-day activities range from tennis baseball, time on the playgrounds, street hockey, kickball, field games, capture the flag, and many more. Special events consist of a Halloween Party, Baggo tournament, Wacky Water Days to stay cool under the sun, and our two featured special events, we hold a Carnival and a Talent Show. The carnival is a full day event that includes obstacle courses, water rides, clowns, games, prizes, etc. The talent show is put together by the counselors, and has been held in the air conditioned Valley Middle Cafetorium in front of packed houses in recent years.
FYI /2011 was our most successful to date. We had a total of 521 children attend the Day Camp alone. Which broke all previous records in years past. The Day Camp's carnival was the biggest we've ever had!!
Camp will be held July 2nd through August 10th, 2012.
