Job applications for 2012 Summer Camp will be made available in January 2012 at the Valley Middle School , Indian Hills High School guidance offices , Boro Hall and in the HANDOUTS section of the downloads .

Friday February 17, 2012. All applications must be returned to Lori Dent at Boro Hall.
Each year at the Oakland Recreation Camp we offer jobs for counselors and junior counselors. Junior counselors is a position only at the Day Camp. This position is offered to candidates that are 14-15 year-olds prior to the first day of camp. As a junior counselor they will be working with a counselor taking direction from them and learning how to become a counselor. Volunteers looking to complete community service requirements are encouraged to contact the camp director via email .
Counselor positions are offered for both Day Camp and Open Camp. You must be 16+ years old prior to the start of camp and must be 18+ to work at Open Camp. We look for candidates that are highly motivated and committed to build upon the camps positive influence on the community of Oakland.
